Strictly Come Dancing stars have been banned from wearing one costume in particular for the Halloween special.
The competition is set to take a creepy turn as the scariest night of the year approaches, but the show wants to avoid causing any dramas.
And so, the clown costumes are banned.
Phew!
BBC bosses believe the outfits are “too frightening” for the family viewers as the terrifying ‘killer clown’ craze continues to sweep the UK.
A source told The Daily Star: “Halloween is a big event in the Strictly calendar but producers have decided to count out clowns this year.
“There is too much risk of scaring young viewers – especially in light of recent events.
“Halloween will be loads of fun anyway and the celebs can’t wait to hit the dance floor.”
The decision comes as terrifying clown stunts terrorise the UK, and many are preparing for more this Halloween.

Police have issued a number of warnings urging people not to join in as those involved could face prosecution.
