Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke-Locke and his husband Gareth are reportedly facing eviction from their luxury west London home. They have allegedly fallen behind on rent, with the couple also said to be at risk of bankruptcy.
Ollie, 38, and Gareth are believed to owe more than £25,000 on the £4 million property. The sum is understood to cover three months’ unpaid rent as well as a penalty charge.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2020, had been living with a tenant who paid her rent directly to them. However, she later discovered the payments had not been passed on to the landlord. Instead, she believes the money was used to “finance their luxury lifestyle.”
Because of this, the tenant could now face the consequences and potentially experience financial strain.
Ollie and Gareth Locke-Locke ‘warned’ about their eviction
The pair have rented the four-bedroom, four-bathroom property near the upscale King’s Road since 2023. They often visit Notting Hill’s Portobello Road, and fans may have noticed they have used the home as the backdrop for their YouTube series, Our Daddy Diaries.
A source told the Daily Mail that they have been trying to maintain appearances with luxury overseas trips and dinners at some of London’s most expensive restaurants.
According to insiders, on the very day they were warned their March 2 eviction date, Ollie and Gareth, who have two-year-old twins — son Apollo Magnus Obi and daughter Cosima Emily Bex — flew to Barbados on a Caribbean cruise with TOWIE’s Lydia Bright — a trip they didn’t have to pay for.
‘Their relationship turned sour’
The source noted that Ollie and Gareth have “struggled to meet their monthly rent payments for almost a year”.
“They have failed to pay three months’ rent and were warned multiple times about breaching their contract, with a deadline of January 30 to settle their outstanding payments. After missing it, accruing additional fees, they now face the risk of bankruptcy as well as being evicted from their home with their two young children.”
They continued: “To make matters worse, a tenant living in the property, who paid her rent directly to Ollie and Gareth, has been left in the lurch. After paying on time every month, she trusted that the money was passed on to the landlord.”
A close friend told the newspaper that the situation is a “simple case of friends falling out” and a “difference of opinion that has become very sad”.
Describing it as “petty” and something that is “being resolved”, they mentioned it is “deeply upsetting for Ollie and Gareth”.
The pair had become close to their tenant, who is said to be the godmother to their children. After their “relationship turned sour”, they are doing “their best to repay the money they owe”.
Ollie and Gareth are also planning to “restart their lives in a new property”.
