TV WARNED US ABOUT THE TERRIBLE TWEENAGER!

Harry Enfield’s Kevin may have been created for comedy purposes but, as with all good characters, he has become stuff of legend because there is more than a ring of truth to him.

In other words, folks, he exists and is dwelling in musty smelling bedrooms up and down the land.

Kevin’s poor parents were in blissful ignorance about the knuckle-dragging, cap-wearing monster about to inhabit their homes – and terrorise their lives – when the clock struck midnight on their little darling’s 13th birthday.

In the blink of an eye, Kevin The Teenager was born – along with his catchphrases “I hate youuuuuuuu!”, “I wish I’d never been born!” and “sooooo unfairrrrrrr!”

Got a 12-year-old? Well, there’s even worse news for you.

Kevin’s change was back in the 90s – these days kids are growing up even quicker.

And this means “Kevins” (and Karens) are now taking shape before the teen years begin.

PLUS the pre-teens of 2017 hold a lot more power.

While the original Kevin was limited to moaning at his parents and slating them to his friend Perry, poor mums and dads of today can be shamed by their disgruntled offspring on social media.

It’s time to stay one step ahead of them!
