The couple were photographed looking stunning in matching black suits at the event, as they walked the red carpet hand-in-hand.
They look like Hollywood movie stars
Meghan completed her look with a chunky gold necklace, dainty earrings and a black clutch bag.
In particular, fans couldn’t get enough of a new hairstyle Meghan was debuting, with many taking to social media to shower her with praise.
The duchess had swapped her trademark bun for a long messy ponytail.

“This ponytail look on Meghan is an absolute 10/10!!” One person commented, followed by three heart eye emojis.
“Simple, but stylish,” another person agreed.
A third likewise agreed: “I adore this hairstyle on Meg.”
“I’m obsessed, she’s so gorgeous!” Came a fourth.
Another person also said: “She is very beautiful. Both are amazing. They look like Hollywood movie stars.”
Meghan’s nod to Archie and Lilibet at New York event
As she picked up her award, Meghan was reportedly praised as a “mother, wife, entrepreneur and philanthropist”.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was honoured as a “humanitarian, mental health advocate, environmentalist, and military combat veteran”. His 2023 memoir, Spare, also got a controversial mention.
In particular, the couple’s award recognised their ongoing efforts to create a safer online environment for young people.
Two years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex set up the Parents Network’ with their Archewell Foundation charity, offering support for parents whose children have experienced harm from social media. They unveiled the initiative at the 2023 edition of the Project Healthy Minds’ festival.
Meghan used her acceptance speech as an opportunity to champion this work, which she’s previously called “some of the most meaningful” they’ve ever done.

She also included a sweet nod to her young children, reportedly saying: “Our children Archie and Lili are just six- and four-years-old. Can you believe it?”
She continued: “Luckily still too young for social media but we know that day is coming, and like so many parents, we think constantly about how to embrace technology’s benefits while safeguarding against the dangers.”
Following the gala, Harry and Meghan took part in Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival on October 10. Archewell will co-produce a series of conversations with mental health change makers.
