Kirstie Allsopp was reportedly left a huge amount in her dad’s will after his death last year.
Kirstie’s father, Lord Charles Hindlip, sadly died aged 83 in June 2024. Lord Charles was a renowned auctioneer who worked in the business for years. Most notably, in 1997, he auctioned off over 70 of Princess Diana’s dresses, which raised £2.8million for cancer and AIDS charities.
And months after his death, it was claimed that Kirstie Allsopp – who is on Location, Location, Location today (August 30) – was left a whopping amount by her father in his will.

How much did Kirstie Allsopp get from her dad?
When Kirstie’s father, Lord Charles Hindlip, passed away, it was reported he had left behind an estate worth an eye-watering amount: £6,113,334. According to The Sun, once bills were settled the estate stood at £6,080,843.
Originally, Lord Charles planned to leave his fortune behind to his wife Lady Fiona Hindlip. However, in 2014, she sadly died following a breast cancer battle aged 66.
As a result, the publication claimed that his fortune was going to be split between his and Lady Fiona’s four children. They are Kirstie, Henry, Sophie and Natasha.
This meant Kirstie was set to inherit a whopping £1.5m from her beloved dad’s fortune.

Kirstie’s heartbreak over father’s death
Kirstie announced the death of her father in an emotional Instagram post last year.
Alongside a throwback picture, Kirstie wrote: “This is my Dad, Charlie Hindlip, he was a great auctioneer, the best of his generation, an artist, a gardener, a father of four, and grandfather of eight, a loving husband to a wife he lost too soon.
She added: “He was a real star, he worked hard, played hard and went further than anyone ever expected.
“He died at home yesterday, surrounded by love, flowers & photographs, in a house he built, looking out over a stunning garden he created from scratch. I have been so proud to be his daughter all my life, and will be until the day I die. Bless you Dad, we loved you so much.”
