She finished fourth in this year’s I’m A Celebrity and Kate Garraway has revealed that she was “shocked” when she left the jungle and looked in the mirror for the first time in three weeks.
Kate – who presents Good Morning Britain – said she was “shocked” at her reflection because she’d lost so much weight.
She also said she wasn’t expecting to see her “really crazy” hair and eyebrows.

Speaking after a shower at the plush Palazzo Versace hotel, Kate revealed that she had lost a stone during her jungle stint.

She said: “I was a bit shocked when I got into the dressing room and looked in the mirror.”

Kate added: “I thought, oh, my God! Because you don’t see yourself. There is no mirror in the jungle.”
One of the first things Kate did when she left the jungle was take a bath.
She went on to reveal that contestants are weighed before they enter the jungle and when they come out.
She added: “And I’ve lost a stone.”

And, it seems, she quite liked her jungle diet.
Said Kate: “I was really eating in there as well, so rice and beans is kind of the way to go.”
