They also believe that Honey G is an actress.
According to The Sun, Jade Thirlwall said: “I think it’s a joke. I don’t believe she’s real. She’s blatantly an actress. Let’s just say, I’ve heard she’s an actress.”
Jesy Nelson also told Kiss FM: “She’s just no. I think she’s an actress, I’ve been told she is as well.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “I’m all for entertainment, but I’m also all for real talent as well.”
Honey G recently hit back at her critics when speaking to WhatsOnTV.
She said: “I know some people have been saying they don’t think I’m real and that I’m a prank that’s been set up by the producers, but those haters need to check themselves because I am the finished article.
“I might not have the most amazing voice, but I’m a heavyweight rapper, singer and producer, and I write my own lyrics, so I’ve got real skills to bring to the table.
“To be regarded as a joke is really insulting.”
Little Mix’s Jesy also told Digital Spy this week: “I don’t think it’s fair that novelty acts get through.
“I get it in that it becomes a little niche thing and everyone finds it funny, but I just think it’s so unfair when so many incredible people don’t get through.”
She went on: “Even in our year there were artists like Kitty (Brucknell) who were seen as novelty, but she was still an incredible singer.”
Leigh-Anne agreed: “There’s no excuse for it really.”
