Geordie Shore star slammed for “sick” tweet after Manchester attack

He has now said that his Twitter account was hacked

Scotty T has been branded “sick” after tweeting a message flirting with Ariana Grande.

After the news broke that the Manchester bombing had taken place, in which 22 people died and 119 are left injured, Scotty took to Twitter.

He wrote: “Thoughts going out to all the victims and their familys [sic] in Manchester right now and you @ArianaGrande!! #fancyacuddle”, along with a embarrassed smiley emoji.

People were quick to respond to his tweet, and called it “bad taste”.

His tweet was quickly removed, and he later apologised to anybody that was offended, saying that his account was hacked.

“Hi apologises to anyone offended last night. My Twitter was hacked. Anyone who follows me knows I would not tweet anything so disgusting”.

He then tweeted: “Just gained access now after resetting account…

“There were 17 apps logged in to the account. All of these had to be removed.”

Many didn’t believe him, and said that the tweet was his “character”.

Another angry user wrote: “Grow the hell up! Seriously! Take a step back and take a long hard look around you, children are missing, best thing to do is say sorry!!”

As people hit out at him, he responded.

He wrote: “Obviously not my tweet @jasoncundy05 my account was hacked. As soon as my team found out they where [sic] on to Twitter to regain access & delete”.

There were still plenty of people that didn’t believe him, with one saying: “Your “team” sorted it out! Who are you by the way?”

Some also stuck up for the reality star, and said that there were lots of verified Twitter accounts that have been hacked.
