Adam Thomas’ wife Caroline reveals birthing fear

The couple are expecting a baby girl in May

Adam Thomas’ pregnant wife Caroline has revealed her biggest worry about the birth of their forthcoming child.

Caroline, who is expecting her second baby with former Emmerdale star Adam, has admitted she is concerned that she will end up having a very long and painful labour.

The couple’s son Teddy is now four and, in her latest blog with OK! magazine, Caroline has told how he took just six hours to arrive after her waters broke.

But as a result, she is worried it won’t be such plain sailing this time around.

“I was so fast with Ted – obviously it was painful – but it was a really smooth birth.

“You hear about people being in labour for 15 hours or more!”

It has been an exciting time for dance teacher Caroline and 29-year-old Adam as, not only are they looking forward to the birth of their baby – a little girl – they have just celebrated a very special milestone.

Earlier this week, the couple marked ten years of being together and Caroline posted a special message on Instagram in honour of the occasion.

She told her followers: “So… 2 houses, 1 dog, 1 child, 1 wedding, 1 bump, numerous holidays and 10 YEARS later we are still going strong!!!

“Happy 10 years together my husband, best friend and general pain in the [bleep]! I love you more than anything and cannot wait to grow old with you @adamthomas21.”

The couple were inundated with well-wishes, including sweet messages from Adam’s brothers Ryan and Scott.

While Ryan replied with a blue heart emoji, Scott wrote: “Ah no way! If I ever have anything close to what you guys have I’ll be a happy man! Love you both much.”

Adam recently left his role on Emmerdale to pursue other projects.

He has since been spending lots of time with his family, while also travelling out to Los Angeles.
