It’s been two years since Dale was last on our TVs.

The former Hole In The Wall presenter, revealed to whatsontv.co.uk that his absence from the entertainment world had been because of ill health.

He said: “I had about four surgeries. I had a shoulder problem and a knee problem, so I took a break to get myself sorted.”

The star is probably best loved for hosting iconic show Supermarket Sweep which was last on our screens in 2007 –  unbelievably that’s a whopping 11 years ago!!!

So it must be time to resurrect the daytime TV show that was so popular with everybody?

Dale revealed that the company that originally made it, took the show to a TV festival in Cannes where it created a lot of interest.

He revealed: “I loved doing that show so if they wanted to do it again I would. Then again, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted 22-year-old to present it. I’d be devastated but, you know, that’s what happens.”

Nooooooooo, there can only ever be one presenter of Supermarket Sweep, and Dale Winton is it!
