Massive congratulations to CBeebies TV presenter Maddie Moate who has just announced her engagement to YouTuber & BBC Science presenter Greg Foot.
For those of you without small children, Maddie presents a programme on the BBC’s channel for young children called Do You Know?

Greg is also a presenter on the BBC, where he’s appeared on Blue Peter, and also on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch as the resident science guy!
The couple got engaged on a holiday to Thailand at the beginning of February when Greg popped the question, but have been keeping it a secret -until now!
Greg added a picture of them both looking ridiculously happy to Instagram with the caption: “WE GOT ENGAGED in Thailand and didn’t tell anyone for ages (which was wonderful) and decided it’s now time to go public.”
BAFTA winner Maddie also posted her exciting news on Twitter saying: “The time we got ENGAGED! Yep, whilst we were in Thailand @gregfoot popped the question and of course I said yes.”
“It’s been an incredible few weeks enjoying our engagement as a couple, but now feels like the right time to spread the word!”
There were lots of congratulations all round from friends, but it appears that fans young and old were slightly upset by the announcement.
