Ashley Banjo has shared a sweet photo of his daughter and his beloved dog Oscar, who recently passed away.

The Diversity star took to Instagram to reminise about his pooch by posting a snap of Oscar meeting baby Rose.

Ashley wrote: “When Oscar met Rose… Miss you boy.”

Fans were quick to offer Ashley their support.

One person said: “So happy they got to meet. He was waiting for her before he left.”

Another wrote: “Definitely one for the wall. Absolutely beautiful,” while a third added: “A dog is not a pet it’s part of the family.”

Last month, Ashley revealed Oscar had passed away.

He posted a string of snaps of his adorable furry friend alongside an emotion caption.

Ashley wrote: “RIP Oscar, we love you so much boy… @francescabanjo and I are completely heartbroken.

“The bravest, most loving and gentle soul we’ve ever known. There is a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.”

He later posted a video of Oscar on his “last birthday”.

Ashley told fans: “This was the last birthday we got to celebrate with @oscar_the_greatdane.

“The video says it all… Love. Everyone stopped and took their time to show how much love they had for him. Even if he didn’t understand the words!

“He was such a special dog and this was such a special moment I’ll never forget. I know he’ll always be in our hearts – still sitting in the corner of every Diversity rehearsal…
