Alison Hammond admits she’s prepared to make weight-loss jab U-turn: ‘Would you rather I die?’

At her heaviest, Alison was 30 stone

Alison Hammond has hit back at accusations that she has been using weight-loss jabs to lose 13 and a half stone.

However, the star, who features on the Great British Bake Off tonight (Sunday, October 19), has left the door open to use the drug in the future.

Alison Hammond hits back at weight-loss jab accusations

During a chat with the Daily Mail at the Women of the Year Awards earlier this week, Alison was asked whether she’d been using jabs to achieve her incredible weight loss.

At her heaviest, the This Morning star weighed 30 stone. Now, the star weighs around 16.5 stone.

“It worries me that the jab keeps getting brought up. Every single time I have a conversation in public, that is the question thrown at me. Absolutely not. I’m not a follower of what people do. I do what I need to do for me,” she said when asked if she’d taken it.

‘Maybe next year’

However, the star is keeping the door open to potentially using the drug at some point in the future.

“I don’t like the fact that you have to say: ‘Oh, no, I wouldn’t have the jab ever.’ Maybe next year. Do you know what? I might start jabbing up. What does it matter how people lose weight,” she said, announcing a U-turn in her thinking.

“Would you rather me die from being obese?” she then added.

Alison Hammond’s secret to losing 13 stone

Earlier this year, Alison spoke about how she went about losing so much weight without using weight loss drugs.

Speaking to Closer, Alison revealed that she has a personal trainer who has helped her lose weight.

“She’s amazing. She trains me when I can train. If I’m working, I don’t train, I’ll go for a walk. But when I’m at home, I’ll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week,” she revealed.

“I don’t deny myself anything. I eat everything, but in moderation,” she then continued.
