Mike Tyson (again!) – Royal Bengal Tigers
Not content with just his pigeons for company, the boxer branched out into tigers. Not such a big leap…
At one point in his heyday, Tyson once owned three rare Royal Bengal tigers, named Kenya, Storm and Boris. One of them featured in 2009 hit comedy, The Hangover.
The tigers cost Mike $4000 a month, just for general upkeep, and an extra $125,000 a year for a personal tiger trainer. Sadly, the heavyweight boxer didn’t actually have the proper licence and had to give them up.
Tyson was clearly fearless in and out of the ring, as he was often seen playing with the 500lb creatures as if they were dogs.
