I’m A Celeb viewers outraged as contestants clash

We had our first taste of tension in tonight's episode

| Updated:

Jungle fans have predicted fireworks between I’m A Celebrity’s new arrival Iain Lee and Stanley Johnson.

Viewers took to social media on Thursday to accuse Iain of trying to wind up Stanley after he slammed Boris Johnson’s dad for failing to follow the new camp rules.

And given pretty much everyone adores Stanley at the mo, understandably it didn’t go down well!

As the newly-elected Jungle Prime Minister, Iain was charged with handing out roles for his group of contestants at Croc Creek.

He instructed Jennie McAlpine to do the cooking but Stanley chipped in to help her.

Telling off Stanley, an annoyed Iain told the Bush Telegraph: “Stanley struggled to grasp that it’s a rule.”

He then did an impersonation of Stanley speaking before saying. “Sorry… I’m not sorry. Follow the rules. They’re simple.”

But back at camp, Stanley made it clear he wasn’t happy and said it wasn’t fair on Jennie to do the cooking for everyone.

“I don’t think we need to treat them as holy gospel,” argued Stanley.

“It’s not a democracy,” retorted Iain.

Stanley then asked Iain what chores he would do around camp, prompting the Talk Radio DJ to say none, to which Stanley said Iain’s rule as PM would likely be short.

Ouch.

Well, plenty of Stanley fans were NOT happy with Iain upsetting him.

Others predicted a mega clash to come!

Others, however, felt Iain was just joking around and Stanley took it too seriously.

Some also pointed out Iain had chosen Stanley to join him at the luxury camp.

Iain was named Jungle PM after beating fellow newcomer Kezia Dugdale MSP in tonight’s Bushtucker Trial.

They had to climb through various gross chambers filled with all sorts of yucky delights while trying to collect stars.

As Iain finished first, he won the trial – and the power.

He was able to choose five celebrities to join him in Croc Creek, where a nice hot meal would be waiting, while the other stars would go with Kezia to Snake Rock and basic rations.

The lucky ones picked by Iain were Shappi, Dennis, Jennie, Amir and Stanley.

I’m A Celeb continues 9pm on ITV.
