Sinead passed away recently

ITV soap Coronation Street has revealed the date of Sinead’s funeral.

In last night’s episode of the show (November 6 2019), Billy Mayhew confirmed it would be the 18th of November.

However when Ken reached out to his son Daniel to let him know the date, Daniel told him he and son Bertie wouldn’t be returning for it.

Meanwhile, Ken and Peter started to fall out with Sinead’s aunt Beth over funeral arrangements.

But eventually Ken managed to convince Beth some of the ideas are not what Sinead wanted for her funeral.

A couple of week ago, viewers and Corrie residents were left heartbroken when Sinead died of cancer.

After being diagnosed with cervical cancer while pregnant with Bertie, Sinead decided not to have treatment until her baby was born.

After his birth she immediately began treatment and earlier this year was given good news by the doctor that her tumour had shrunk and showed no signs of spreading.

But then Sinead discovered a lump on her neck at her and Daniel’s wedding.

Unfortunately she was told she didn’t have much longer left and her time was cut from months to weeks when the doctors told her there was no more they could do for her.
