Actress Gemma Atkinson has revealed that she’s landed a new lunchtime TV role.
Gemma – who is mum to daughter Mia with Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez – announced the news earlier today (September 2) on Instagram.
The one-time Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star revealed she’ll be joining Steph McGovern on her new Channel 4 lunchtime show.
Steph’s Packed Lunch will start later this month, with the show going up against ITV’s This Morning and Loose Women in the lunchtime schedules.

Gemma revealed: “So this is exciting! (Well, for me anyway). I’ll soon be joining C4’s new daytime show Steph’s Packed Lunch.

“A few times a week I’ll be joining Steph McGovern chatting away. The show will feature celebrity guests, fab food and intriguing real-life features and headlines.
“You can join us live weekdays from midday on C4! See you there!”
This Morning airs on ITV till 12.30, when Loose Women takes over.
Last night, Steph revealed that new mum Vogue Williams and SCD star Oti Mabuse would also be joining the line up.
Steph said: “Look at this team! This is one ‘Packed Lunch’ of a show, full to the brim with loads of great items, people and food.
“We’re going to have loads of fun and bring the nation positive vibes in the middle of the day, all from our fancy new studio in Leeds.
“Thinking about it all is making me hungry to get started!”
She’ll be in the studio every week
Gemma, Vogue and rapper Lady Leshurr will join Steph in the studio each week to reveal what viewers at home have been talking about.

Oti will take people behind the scenes of auditions for her new tour.
What an exciting new opportunity for you. Looking forward to seeing it.
Giovanna Fletcher will also have a role on the show, chatting about the rise in home births.
Chris Kamara is also set to present a segment called One O’Clock Views.
Top TV chefs will be rustling up lunch, while resident doctors will also be on hand to offer advice.
