Adele’s little boy injured in rehearsal accident

The singer was forced to make some big changes to her concert

Adele has dramatically changed her live tour after her son’s sight was endangered by the show’s pyrotechnics.

The bubbly singer took to the stage in Perth, Australia, to break the news that she had scrapped a certain aspect of her live show.

The singer made the drastic decision after her beloved son Angelo – who we still hope was named after the Brotherhood of Man song – got debris from fireworks in his eye during rehearsals.

“We’ve been rehearsing here and up until last night we had fireworks for you,” the cautious singer told the crowd of eager fans.

“And obviously everyone likes a fireworks display. However, my son was watching in the crowd… there wasn’t much of a crowd, there was like five people.

“A bit of debris — it wasn’t big — but a bit went in his eye and he was very upset, so I got rid of the fireworks.

The lack of sparkles in the show did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the fans who had turned out to watch her sing songs for her amazing albums 19, 21 and 25.

Adele has been touring her 25 album for the past year and had, up to that point, performed 107 shows without incident.

And we bet she’ll be relieved to have this tour well and truly behind her.

Not just because she is a homebody, but also as she still gets nervous stepping out on stage.

In fact, she admitted that she almost did a runner from her Perth show because she was addled with nerves beforehand.

“I’m doing as many shows as I can with the availability. I’m even doing stadiums. Do you know, one time I said I wouldn’t even play arenas?

“I said I’d only ever play theatres. To be honest, about three hours ago I nearly tried to run away, so I don’t know how I managed to stay in the venue, to stay on the stage.”

But the true pro she is, Adele fought off her nerves and headed once again out on stage, where she came face to face with herself – kind of.

During the show, the cheeky Miss spotted a look-a-like in the crowd and called her up on stage.

Only it wasn’t a woman, it was a drag queen who actually works as an Adele impersonator

“I impersonate you professionally for a job,” Feminem told Adele in front of an audience of thousands.

“Shut up,” Adele responded, in her own unique way, before Feminem belted out the tune a cappella, while Adele danced and clapped along.

Once they took a selfie, Adele check out Feminem’s almost matching sequinned gown and said: “You look better than I do—that’s not allowed!”

Just before Feminem returned to the crowd, Adele promised she would come and perform with her her at Connections, the club where she works.

Now that’s a performance we’d like to see!
