Giovanni Pernice’s future on Strictly has seemingly been “revealed” as the pro dancer’s time on the show has come to a “premature” end.
The Italian dancer has been forced off the show after it was announced that his celeb dance partner, Amanda Abbington, had quit the show.

Yesterday it was announced that Amanda had quit Strictly. The former Sherlock actor was absent from last weekend’s show due to a health issue.
However, yesterday it was announced that she wouldn’t be returning to the show at all.
In a statement, the BBC said: “Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition.
“The show wishes her all the best for the future,” they then added.
Fans were disappointed by the news. “Gutted that Amanda (& Gio) won’t be coming back to Strictly. What a shame,” one wrote on social media.
“Absolutely gutted, she was amazing & I really wished she’d stayed on,” another said.
Giovanni Pernice’s Strictly future revealed?
Meanwhile, Giovanni‘s future on the show has seemingly been revealed. Whilst the star is said to be “disappointed” by Amanda quitting the show, he is reportedly not ready to “step away” from Strictly just yet. However, conversations over his future aren’t set to take place for “months”.
“Giovanni is really disappointed that Amanda’s time on Strictly has come to a premature end. He wanted nothing more than to continue competing with her by his side,” a source told the MailOnline.
“For Giovanni now, he will still be on the show every Saturday, supporting the rest of the cast. It was set to be such a big week for him with the launch of his new business GP Vita but after Amanda’s announcement, it didn’t feel right for him to go forward with the scheduled plan,” they then continued.
“Some fans are already doubting Giovanni’s place on the show next year, but those conversations won’t take place for months. However, he has no plans to step back from Strictly just yet.”

Amanda breaks her silence on Strictly exit
Today (Tuesday, October 24) saw Amanda break her silence on her exit from Strictly. The star spoke about her exit in an Instagram post for her 135k followers to see.
“It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly,” she said. “I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons, I am unable to continue.
“It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside,” she then continued.
“I want to thank the incredible production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I’ll miss all of them,” she said.
“I’m so sad that I am unable to go any further. Thank you to everyone who voted and who sent wonderful messages and inspiring support. You are all amazing. Truly. Thank you,” she then added.
However, there was no mention of Gio in her post…
