McFly star Danny Jones expecting his first baby

The couple announced the news in a stunning photo shoot

Danny Jones is expecting his first child with his wife Georgia.

The Voice Kids coach and his Miss England 2007 other half announced the news with a gorgeous photo shoot in Hello! magazine.

And while they haven’t yet found out whether they’re having a boy or a girl, Danny is convinced it’s a boy.

“I think we’re having a boy. I’m going to be a mess at the birth – when I find out if we have a son or a daughter, when I meet him or her,” he told the glossy mag.

“I’d love to know but we’ve decided we want to have that big surprise.”

Georgia, 30, is incredibly excited to be a mother, and knows that it will be one of the most emotional things to ever happen to her and Danny.

“They are going to need a mop for our tears in the delivery room – we are going to be so emotional. Even when we walked in for the first scan I started crying. All they’d said to us was ‘hello’,” she said.

The gorgeous couple also revealed that they hadn’t actually expected to get pregnant so quickly.

After getting married in August 2014, they thought it was perfect timing to start trying for a baby, and spent five months making it happen.

“At first, we were shocked when it happened as we’d been casually trying, but so many people have such a hard graft starting a family that we didn’t really expect it to happen quickly,” the 31-year-old explained.

What makes this little baby even more special, is the fact that it was conceived at Coachella festival. What a cool little tot!

Danny said: “Yeah, it’s cool: it’s a Coachella baby.”

It recently emerged that Danny had lost touch with his dad as he grew up, after an emotional episode of The Voice Kids.

Since it aired, Danny has reconnected with his dad for the first time in 13 years.

When asked by the Daily Star Sunday if he had been in contact with his dad, he said: “I did hear from him. But it’s something to be discussed at a later stage.

“I’m just enjoying the show for now and trying not to get distracted.”

Prior to the series he had said that he felt that if there was any chance of reconnecting with his estranged dad then it would be up to his dad to make the first move.

“If you’re a dad then it’s your job to do it. It shouldn’t be my job to do it. It’s his,” he said.

Adding: “He decided to have me.”

Lorraine Kelly recently asked the hunky singer if he would like to be a dad like his other McFly bandmates Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd.

When he said he was “always thinking about it,” cheeky Lorraine replied “And always practising?” adding, you have to “get it right”.

Georgia had previously said that they had kids on their mind. “If I got pregnant tomorrow I’d be absolutely over the moon,” she said. “But it’s not at the top of our list. It’s on our list, just not on the top.”

Well, it’s right at the top now!

Congratulations, you two.
