Louise Redknapp has revealed she finds it “kinda weird” Jamie Redknapp is attracted to women who look like her.
Last week, The Sun reported that the former footballer, 45, is dating model Lizzie Bowden, 34.
In an interview with The Guardian, Louise, 44, said of suggestions they look similar: “It is kinda weird! And then I start looking at them thinking, ‘Do they look like me?’ But he’s got his taste.”
Although she doesn’t have an issue seeing Jamie with other women, she admitted it’s “hard for the boys” – sons Beau, 10, and Charles, 14.
She continued: “I tell them, ‘Dad’s a single man and he’s doing nothing wrong’.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Louise addressed the speculation that whirled in 2017 following her split with Jamie, insisting her time on Strictly Come Dancing the year previous had nothing to do with it.
She told The Guardian: “Strictly put the fire back in my belly, but it didn’t break up my relationship. After 20 years of marriage, it takes a lot more than that.”
Louise also revealed she hasn’t had a date in two years and worries she’s “never going to meet anyone”.
Louise and Jamie share custody of their sons. They brought almost two decades of marriage to an end in 2017 when they filed for a decree nisi – although Louise kept her last name as the thought of having a different one to her boys upset her.
The Eternal singer was recently snapped holding hands with a mystery man and fans wondered if she’d finally met someone.
But Louise took to Instagram to confirm he wasn’t a new boyfriend.
She shared one of the snaps and captioned it: “Just to clear up the reports that are in the papers today!

“This lovely man is head of security at Soho House and kindly helped me out of the car with my bags and across some roadworks!”
She continued: “For this to be portrayed as anything else is complete fabrication and nice gesture has been blown out of proportion.”
