Emmerdale is already planning their next big stunt – and it’s going to be even bigger than last year’s car crash!
Producer Iain MacLeod teased fans in his #AskIain twitter takeover that something huge will happen later this year.
When Laura Mackenzie tweeted: “What exciting things await the villagers this year?” Iain responded in a video post.
“Remember that big car crash we had last year?” he began. “Well, we’re going for something that I think will be every bit as interesting, even more different and unusual, so look out for that.”
Ooh, we wonder what it could be?

Over on Instagram he was later asked whether the show will be doing any more stunts. He replied:
“Well, you’ve got to be careful really because last year we did such a massive, amazing stunt in the run up to James’s death that I don’t really know how you top that.
“So we’ll try and do spectacular, engaging and visually really interesting.
“Our challenge is do something brilliant and dramatic, but not copying what we’ve already done.”
So that rules out a plane crash, a helicopter crash, a fairground collapse, a multiple car crash, and a storm, what could possibly be left to befall the village?!

During his Q&A Iain also revealed some exciting Robron news – the pair might become daddies.
When asked if the couple will have children, he responded:
“I see no reason why not. Aaron bottle feeding a baby would be cute as heck.”
Agreed!
The boys are one of the cutest couples in the Dales and parents would be a great next step once they’re wed.
They already look after Aaron’s little sister, Liv, and after a bumpy start, that seems to be going okay, so why not add a baby into the mix?
We just hope their happy little family isn’t caught up in the big disaster.
