Snowball Dough Balls make a return as Pizza Express announces its Christmas menu

And you can get them for £1 this month!

Pizza Express has announced its Christmas menu – and the amazing Snowball Dough Balls are back for 2019.

A sweet take on the eatery’s famous savoury Dough Balls, the Snowball variety come dusted with a sprinkle of cinnamon, a flurry of icing sugar and a dollop of vanilla cream.

And, in even better news, you can get your hands on a plate for just £1 later this month.

Yes, Snowball Dough Ball Day is back, with the beloved balls available for just £1 on November 26, with all proceeds going to Macmillan.

“Nothing quite like the Snowball Dough Balls @PizzaExpress to get you in the festive foodie spirit!” said one fan.

Joining the Snowball Dough Balls on the festive menu when it launches on November 19 are three other sweet treats – Millionaire’s Fudge Cake, Black Forest Cake and the rather festive-sounding Mince Pie Dolcetti.

Starters have also had a makeover, with Pizza Express announcing its take on pigs in blankets, which will surely prove to be a Christmas favourite.

There are also some new festive pizzas.

Meat lovers can opt for the pulled pork Porchetta pizza, while cheese fans will adore the four-cheese Quattro Formaggi.

Veggies and vegans aren’t left out with the addition of the Vegan Zucca – it’s topped with garlic and rosemary roast potatoes, Peppadew peppers, spinach and pine kernels on a butternut squash and sage base.

Hot drinks also become more indulgent for the festive period, with hot chocolate and lattes topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
