Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton have both reportedly made notable donations to causes close to their hearts.

Prince William’s hefty donation
Prince William has donated £5,000 to a sheep farmer in a very “kind gesture”.
The farmer, who is a charity campaigner, is “over the moon,” with the donation, as per reports.
William did so in support of Sam Stables, a tenant of the Duchy of Cornwall.
Sam is walking 142 miles from the Herefordshire town Ross-on-Wye to raise money for We Are Farming Minds.
We are Farming Minds is a rural mental health charity, founded by Sam Stables. The Prince of Wales is patron of this important cause.
Sam started his walk on Monday. He is set to walk 30 miles a day so he can reach The Farmers Club, a social club in Whitehall, London, on Friday.
Alongside his generous donation, William also shared his support on social media.

In a comment on Sam’s Instagram page, Wills penned: “Keep going, Sam! You’re doing an amazing job! Thinking of you, W.”
Sam said he is “over the moon” with the donation.
He dubbed William’s generosity as a “kind gesture” in his own social media post.
Sam wrote: “I’ve just had some incredible news. I’m just walking out of Brill, and everything in Brill seems to be brill, because I’ve just heard the news that Prince William’s kindly donated £5000 to the walk, which is absolutely incredible.”
Sam is working to spread awareness of the “immense pressures farmers face every single day”.
The campaign aims to “help give the next generation of farmers the voice, confidence, and support they deserve”.
It has garnered immense support.
Elsewhere, Princess Kate Middleton has also made headlines for a heartfelt donation.

Action for Children, of which the Princess of Wales is patron, said the “Catherine’s Rose”, a namesake plant paying tribute to Kate’s cancer healing journey, was placed in its new home on Wednesday.
It was planted by a mother and child who met Kate at HMP Styal, a women’s prison in Cheshire, last February.
Meanwhile, Amanda Taylor, operational director of children’s services at Action for Children, said: “We were delighted to plant ‘Catherine’s Rose’ at HMP Styal, one year on from the princess’ visit.”
The charity, which runs the mother and baby unit, said that Kate discussed with them the prospect of the rose being given as a gift when she visited them in 2025.

They said: “The prison pond and gardens are of huge value to the mothers and babies here, providing children with space to enjoy nature and explore the outdoors, and this new addition will be treasured both by the families we support and staff alike. I would like to thank the Princess of Wales for her kind donation.”
The flower was named after Kate and was done so by the Royal Horticultural Society.
RHS describe that the flower “celebrates the incredible healing power of nature”.
It also “raises awareness of the important role that spending time outdoors plays in bringing us joy and supporting our mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.”
‘Catherine’s Rose’ is a floribunda rose. It is bred by Harkness Roses, and is set to produce coral and pink petals.
It will also bloom with a “rich perfume with hints of Turkish Delight and mango”.
