Prince Harry ‘will be left in Californian wilderness by Kate, William and Camilla’ amid King Charles reconciliation hope

King Charles may reportedly still be open to reconciliation with his youngest son...

As Prince Harry continues to express his desire for reconciliation with King Charles, insiders suggest that it is unlikely, especially with Prince William, Princess Kate and Queen Camilla reportedly shutting the door on a royal reunion.

Speaking to The Times, royal sources have painted a bleak picture of the Duke of Sussex’s standing within the royal fold, following a string of highly publicised interviews and his explosive 2023 memoir Spare.

While King Charles, 76, is reportedly open to the idea of reconnecting with his son, those closest to him are opposed.

“As long as William, Kate and Camilla have a say in the matter, Harry will be left out in the Californian wilderness,” the outlet claimed.

Latest on Prince Harry and King Charles reconciliation

The late Queen Elizabeth II may have been a pillar of unity in the family, but today’s divisions are more personal. Queen Camilla now appears to be at the centre of the issue.

One insider noted that in Charles’ mind, Harry’s attacks on Camilla crossed a line that may be impossible to uncross.

In the memoir Spare, Harry was frank about his stepmother.

He wrote: “I had complex feelings about gaining a step parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar. In a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy?”

As long as William, Kate and Camilla have a say in the matter, Harry will be left out in the Californian wilderness.

However, during an interview in 2023 for Good Morning America, the Duke of Sussex addressed his comments about Camilla. He said: “I don’t look at her as an evil stepmother. I see someone who married into this institution, and has done everything she can to improve her own reputation and her own image, for her own sake.”

But his comments about Camilla in Spare didn’t go down well, it seems.

A friend of the king told The Times that the entire subject of his falling out with Harry is so painful that Charles avoids it completely in social settings.

“It seems to me one of those things that, if you wanted to have a cheerful evening or cheerful lunch, is probably best not to mention,” the friend reportedly admitted.

‘Harry can’t understand his father’

Despite the chill from within royal circles, Prince Harry has publicly expressed hope for reconciliation.

“I would love reconciliation with my family,” he said in a BBC interview earlier this month. “There’s no point continuing to fight any more. Life is precious.”

However, royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith believes Harry’s desire to reconnect is undermined by a misreading of his father’s character.

“It shows a lack of insight on Harry’s part because Charles is an empathetic person,” she told The Times. “If Harry can’t understand his father to that degree, there’s a problem.”

Celebrity Big Brother in crisis as house is immediately put in lockdown following ‘terrifying’ security breach

The Celebrity Big Brother house is in lockdown after bosses at ITV reportedly had to involve themselves in emergency security protocol following a breach.

The 13 housemates are said to have been forced to remain inside with shutters pulled down to block their view after a drone flew into the compound and landed inside the garden.

While the drone was hovering in the backyard, Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke was on an exercise bike. Former MP Michael Fabricant was also enjoying some fresh air.

After the situation went down, they went back inside, and security put the house on lockdown. Reportedly, the team at ITV are working to review footage to work out what happened.

“It was a major security breach. Flying a drone over the house is one thing but to be able to as good as land it in the garden meters away from the stars is terrifying. Michael was the first to spot the drone and pretended to shoot it down while Mickey was baffled,” an inside source told The Sun.

They continued: “All the housemates ran to the doors to see what was happening but Big Brother quickly pulled down the shutters. Security is now being reviewed.”

ED! has contacted ITV for comment.

‘Watch the chaos unfold’

Since keeping the celebs inside, a TikTok video has appeared online, which documents the full footage of the drone in the garden.

In the video, Michael jokingly pretends to shoot at the drone. Mickey, however, appears unbothered while cycling with his arms crossed.

The user who shared the footage goes by “Thedronemenace” and reacted to the house being on lockdown.

“The Celebrity Big Brother house is LOCKED DOWN! Thanks to the DRONE MENACE!” they wrote. “Watch the chaos unfold as the housemates react to being trapped! Stay tuned for the full story!”

As tensions have deepened, Harry and King Charles have reportedly not seen each other in over 15 months. And the situation hasn’t been helped by ongoing legal disputes.

Harry recently lost his appeal to reinstate taxpayer-funded police protection during UK visits.

This legal case reportedly added fuel to the fire. The king’s reluctance to engage further partly stems from the “security stuff,” according to Harry.

With William, Kate, and Camilla reportedly opposing any re-entry into the royal fold, even a sympathetic King Charles is said to be treading cautiously.

Royal Insider has contacted reps for Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace for comment.
