Molly Rainford has arrived in EastEnders as Anna Knight – the daughter of the new co-owner of The Queen Vic, George Knight – Elaine Peacock‘s new fella.
Anna and her sister Gina, played by Francesca Henry, arrived in tonight’s episode. They immediately won the heart of smitten Freddie Slater, but got off on the wrong foot with Kathy, when they tried to bring their chihuahua Tyson into the cafe.
And they didn’t impress the locals either, when they tried to get the punters at The Vic in the mood for a party, unaware that poor Lola had just passed away.
But though Anna might not be making any friends in Walford, her alter-ego Molly Rainford is already a firm fan favourite.

Molly Rainford’s sparkling showbiz career
Talented Molly is only 22 years old but she’s already had an impressive showbiz career!
She began her superstardom when she was just 11. She auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, singing One Night Only from Dreamgirls and impressed the judges and audience alike.
After her BGT success – coming sixth in the final – Molly was signed by Sony Music, and landed a job presenting Friday Download on CBBC.
From there Molly was given the title role in Nova Jones, a CBBC drama about an intergalactic pop star!
Strictly star!
In 2022, Molly joined the celebrities taking part in the twentieth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Molly was partnered with professional Carlos Wu and the pair soon became audience faves. They made it all the way to the final, where they impressed with their Prince-inspired showdance, but had to be content with finishing runner-up to the eventual winner, Hamza Yassin.
Now Molly’s joined EastEnders, and we can’t wait to find out what Anna and Gina will be getting up to in Albert Square!
