Emmerdale spoilers: DI Malone’s attack on Dawn turns deadly

Will Malone survive this time?

Emmerdale spoilers reveal DI Malone is attacked as he tries to get Dawn to overdose. But who gets to him? And has he been murdered?

For months the dodgy detective has been harassing Will Taylor and having an affair with his fiancee Harriet. But things take a dark turn next week.

In upcoming scenes Malone comes back to the village and intimidates Dawn. He tells her that her testimony against him has been taken as false.

Dawn tries to act cool, but when the corrupt copper pulls out a wrap of heroin and a syringe from his pocket.

She backs away in horror realising just how far Malone will go to get rid of her.

When Dawn prepares to fight him, Malone pulls a gun. But she recoils in horror and he takes a menacing step towards her.

She breaks down in tears as Malone tempts her to take her own life by overdosing on heroin.

But before she can do anything someone comes to her rescue. We soon see Malone’s body sprawled out on the floor.

Who attacked him? And is he dead this time?

This week’s Emmerdale

This week, Dawn makes an enemy of Malone. After finding out that Harriet has been cheating on her dad with the dodgy detective, Dawn goes to the police station.

Emmerdale – Mark Womack on Malone

Speaking about his dangerous alter ego, Mark Womack revealed that the detective ‘wouldn’t think twice’ about killing someone.

Speaking on Entertainment Daily and other media at a recent virtual press event, he said: “I think he’s killed people before and he wouldn’t think twice. He will go on doing what he’s doing until he gets what he wants.”

Emmerdale airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm on ITV.
