Laura Anderson has confirmed she is single following her split from footballer Clark Robertson. She also appeared to take a swipe at former partner Gary Lucy while reflecting on motherhood and starting again.
The Love Island star shared her thoughts as part of an Instagram trend about things she considers “chic”.
Her update adds another public chapter to her turbulent relationship with Gary Lucy, whom she met on Celebs Go Dating in 2022. The former couple share three-year-old daughter Bonnie.

Laura began her candid post by addressing the prospect of rebuilding her life.
She wrote on Instagram: “Kinda chic…To start again at 37 and not call it a failure.”
The reality star then appeared to refer to the difficulties she experienced while pregnant. She added: “Kinda chic growing a human while going through it all.”
According to The Sun, the remark appeared to be aimed at Gary. Laura and the Hollyoaks actor split after announcing that they were expecting a child. They later reconciled before eventually ending their relationship again.
Laura went on to describe being a single mum as her biggest achievement. She also shared her view that a family can consist of a mother and her child.
The post marks the first time Laura has publicly addressed being single since her relationship with Clark came to an end.

The Sun revealed in March that Laura and Clark had called time on their romance following an 18-month relationship. The pair had reportedly spent several months trying to make things work.
A source told the publication at the time: “Laura and Clark have called time on their relationship.
“It was a difficult decision, they both have a lot of love for each other but realised it wasn’t working.”
Their romance began years after Clark first tried to contact Laura. The footballer reportedly sent her a direct message which remained unread for three years before they eventually got together.

Laura’s followers quickly filled the comments with messages of support after she shared the personal update.
One follower called her an “inspiration” and urged her to “keep shining bright”. Another simply wrote: “So chic, you’re smashing it.”
A further fan praised Laura’s strength and said Bonnie would grow up feeling proud of her mum.
