Kate Brazier has shared a defiant update one year after her life “turned upside down,” telling followers she has finally “got my pink back” following her split from Jeff.
Alongside a sunny photograph overlooking a beach and the sea, Kate wrote on Instagram: “Crazy to think a year ago this week my life turned upside down. Sitting in the sun in my favourite place with my best friend on the other side of it all.”
She added: “I wish I could tell that Kate how good it would get. Got my pink back.” Her message comes after Jeff confirmed their separation following seven years of marriage.

Jeff announced the news in November, revealing that the couple had privately parted ways during the summer. He struck a warm and respectful tone as he reflected on their relationship.
The presenter wrote on Instagram: “I’m so full of love and gratitude for Kate. For all we achieved, for how much we grew, for everything we endured.”
Jeff explained that they initially kept the separation private because they wanted time to adjust. He also said they had worked hard to save their relationship before accepting that they could not make it work.
He described the pair as each other’s “safe space” and “biggest supporters” during busy, painful and complex periods in their lives.
Jeff also praised Kate’s career and the support she had given him. He added: “I’m so proud of how hard we worked, how we kept showing up, we gave everything and more.”
The couple married in September 2018 after a decade together. Their relationship had already survived a previous separation and reconciliation after they briefly split in 2022.
Kate says she has ‘got my pink back’
Kate did not name Jeff or directly criticise him in her latest message. However, MailOnline described her words about reclaiming her identity as a subtle swipe at her former husband.
The phrase “get your pink back” refers to regaining a sense of identity and personal freedom after a draining period. Kate’s recent Instagram posts have presented an upbeat picture of her life since the separation.
She has shared updates from trips to Ibiza, Amsterdam and Mykonos with friends and loved ones. In another recent post, she declared: “What a beautiful life.”
Kate also made light of her divorce while visiting Las Vegas in March. After watching Jennifer Lopez perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she captioned a picture: “Divorce never looked so good,” alongside a laughing emoji.
Another photograph showed Kate walking through a casino with a male friend. She wrote: “When the start of your next chapter looks better than you could ever imagine.”
