“At The Archewell Foundation, we celebrate the rich culture and contributions of those who have come before us throughout history,” the statement began.

“As we mark Black History Month, we encourage everyone to learn and reflect on the contributions of leaders, activists, and changemakers who have inspired progress.”

The foundation also provided a list of educational resources to help people engage with Black history, art, and culture.

The statement added: “Taking the time to appreciate stories, art, history, and culture not only honours the communities that have built these spaces but also contributes to our collective wellbeing.”

Prince Harry and Meghan’s statement comes just before they travel to Canada. The couple are expected to make a joint appearance at the Invictus Games celebrations.

The games were founded by Prince Harry in 2014, to support wounded, injured and sick service members through sports.

According to a source from the Express, the trip is a key moment for the Sussexes. “There will be a renewed focus on the Sussexes as a couple, as a brand, and showcasing them as a couple and family,” they explained.

The insider added that the couple is strategically stepping back from managing their public relations directly.

Why Harry and Meghan could appear at 2025 Invictus Games together

Both Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, will reportedly attend the Invictus Games opening ceremony, which will feature major musical performances.

Katy Perry, Noah Kahan, Nelly Furtado and Coldplay’s Chris Martin are all scheduled to perform at the event.

“It was important for the Sussexes to appear together at such a worthwhile event,” the source continued. “The Invictus Games is a Sussex initiative and something they want their children to continue once they get older.”

While it is unclear if their son Prince Archie, five, and daughter Princess Lilibet, three, will accompany them, the couple remains committed to building a lasting legacy for their children through the Invictus Games.

Meghan Markle thanks celebrity friends in new Instagram video

Meanwhile, this week, Meghan shared an emotional video on Instagram. In the video, the duchess thanked singer Billie Eilish for donating signed merchandise to a teen wildfire victim in Los Angeles.

Dressed casually in jeans and a black sweatshirt embroidered with her children’s names, Meghan recounted how she and Prince Harry met a 15-year-old girl in Altadena, whose home was destroyed in the fires.

It was important for the Sussexes to appear together at such a worthwhile event.

The teen had lost a cherished Billie Eilish concert T-shirt, which she had left in the washing machine before the disaster.

Determined to help, Meghan sent out a voice note to her contacts, asking: “Please, can someone get this message to Billie Eilish?”

Real reason Queen Consort Camilla will change her royal title revealed: ‘It isn’t due to her popularity’

Queen Consort Camilla is set to undergo a major title change following the coronation in May, it has recently been reported.

Now, the real reason behind this change in title has been revealed by a royal expert – and it’s not due to her popularity.

Queen Consort Camilla to undergo major title change

Last week it was revealed that Camilla will undergo a major title change at the coronation.

As reported by The Mirror last Thursday (March 16), Camilla will be dropping the ‘Consort’ from her Queen Consort title soon.

Once the coronation is done, the 75-year-old will reportedly be simply known as Queen Camilla going forwards.

The news was revealed when the coronation edition of the bible was leaked.

In it, it reads: “To commemorate the Coronation of their majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. In the Abbey Church of St Peter, Westminster. The sixth day of May 2023.”

When Camilla first married Charles, it was expected that she would become Princess Consort when Charles became King.

However, as per the late Queen Elizabeth’s wishes, Camilla’s title was changed to Queen Consort when Charles took the throne.

Now it seems as though another tweak is in order for Camilla’s royal title.

Why is Queen Consort Camilla changing her title?

Now, the real reason behind Camilla’s title change has been revealed – and it’s nothing to do with her popularity.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliam spoke exclusively to ED! about the decision to change Camilla’s title and the reasoning behind it.

“Camilla’s history with titles is unique,” he said.

“She was Princess of Wales but chose to be known as the Duchess of Cornwall,” he then continued.

” It was the official position that when Charles ascended the throne she would be known as Princess Consort, until the Queen’s intervention in the eve of her Platinum Jubilee.”

“She is Queen Consort, but it is a heavy handed title,” he then said.

Camilla title change not down to ‘popularity’

The royal expert then continued, saying: “None of the previous three Queen Consorts used it, Alexandra, Mary and Elizabeth were all known as Queen.”

“In the age of social media and the net bad habits such as calling Catherine – Kate Middleton persist,” he then said.

“It also makes sense to make a title easier to use, which is why the change is likely,” he then continued.

Camilla’s history with titles is unique.

Richard then revealed at this point that the title change has nothing to do with popularity.

“It isn’t really linked to her personal popularity,” he said.

However, there is also another reason behind the change, according to the royal expert.

“Queen Consort Camilla sounds clunky so it will probably change,” he revealed.

Meghan also thanked celebrity friends Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo for helping make the connection.

“Let’s keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires.” She wrote in the caption. “Thank you to our first responders – the community’s real heroes. As ever, Meghan.”
