Songstress Adele likes a laugh and she certainly made sure the joke was on her on her birthday this week.
The star turned 29 on Friday and to mark the occasion, dressed herself up as an old granny!
With frizzy hair and wrinkles, and wearing that grandma staple, the cardigan, the red-headed superstar was a dead ringer for Catherine Tate’s Nan!
She captioned the image, which she shared on her Instagram page, saying:
“Nearly 30! Thanks for the well wishes. See you soon x”.
She’s got such a fun sense of humour!

And she’s certainly got a lot to celebrate this weekend as not only was it her birthday, but the Sunday Times Rich List has named her as the richest musician under 30 in the British Isles.
With a reported £125million to her name, the singer certainly isn’t doing badly for herself, is she?!
Her latest album, 25, and hit singles including Hello, have helped almost double her wealth in the last year alone.
The notoriously private singer recently confirmed in her Grammy Awards acceptance speech in America that she has married long-term partner, Simon Konecki. The couple share a four-year-old son, Angelo, together.

She’s due to play four sold-out gigs at Wembley Stadium this summer, but has hinted she won’t tour again after that.
It might affect her standings on future Rich List’s if she doesn’t, but then again, she doesn’t strike us as the sort of person who’d be that bothered by that.
