Marcella may be on TV screens. And Anna Friel may be back as Marcella on TV screens. But what isn’t back and on the back of Anna Friel on TV screens is Marcella’s lovely parka.
Her parka, it seems, lives long in the memories of Marcella fans, after a very significant recurring role in the first series. But for round two, it’s gone!
And although some viewers have claimed to be struggling with the coat-related loss, Anna advised them to move on.
Plus, there was a perfectly good story reason why her copper character wouldn’t be wrapped up like a flu-ridden Paul Weller.
Still, the loss was keenly felt.
