Coronation Street star Kate Ford has ranted about people who don’t wear their face masks properly.
The actress, who is well known for playing Tracy McDonald in the ITV soap, posted on Twitter about how she noticed people not wearing their masks correctly.
She wrote: “If you are wearing a mask on your chin you are not wearing a mask. Ffs how hard can this be? Rahhhhhh.”

Her followers and fans agreed with Kate on the situation.
James Forde, who played Liam Butcher in EastEnders, responded saying: “So annoying.”
One follower tweeted: “I had that on the bus the other day. And don’t get me started on people not social distancing.”

Another added: “I have asthma and I can manage to wear one. They’re not exempt unless they have severe asthma. I wore one for 12 hours only removing it to eat and drink. I survived.”
Coronation Street: Coronavirus face mask rules
As of July 24, it became mandatory in England to wear face masks in shops.
In England it is now also the law to wear a face mask covering in most public settings. This includes public transport, attractions, public areas in hotels and premises providing personal and beauty care.
However certain people are exempt if they have illnesses or disabilities which prevent them from being able to use a mask.
Earlier this week, Coronation Street fans were furious as characters went into Dev’s shop without wearing a face mask.

However a Coronation Street rep explained to Entertainment Daily: “The show is filmed a long time in advance of transmission so there is inevitably a time lag before any changes to Government legislation start to appear on screen.
“Also there will be some instances where, in the interest of producing drama that is engaging and our audience want to watch, we feel it necessary for our characters’ faces to be seen.
Please note that all scenes are filmed while maintaining a social distance of 2m between characters, even when on screen they may appear closer.”
