Katy Perry is in the midst of a worldwide headlining tour and filming her first season as a judge on the reboot of American Idol. But just because she’s very busy, it doesn’t mean she’s going to stop being one of today’s leading fashion icons.
And, last week, while doing press with her fellow Idol judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, she dazzled in the daytime with shiny sequins and extra-special pumps from her own collection.
On Wednesday, the singer was seen in New York City rocking a long-sleeved, rainbow-striped sequin dress by Attico that is valued at $2,850.
That price is chump change to the 32-year-old as she is reportedly raking in $25 million to judge American Idol.
More importantly, though, she wore patent-leather high heels from her very own footwear line, Katy Perry Collections.
The red pumps may have seemed basic, but if you look closer at the heels, you will see that they are shaped like microphones!
Katy’s shoe line features an array of funky styles.
Some of the other special heel designs include cactuses, tequila bottles and spools of thread.
She also has several pairs of shoes that have Lucite heels filled with items like colorful wrapped candies, metallic beads and stars and moons.
The “Swish Swish” singer is currently on tour in support of her latest album, Witness.
She has dates scheduled in America, Canada, Europe and Australia through August 2018.
Katy does not have any gigs slated from February through late May 2018, however, which is most likely when American Idol will be airing on ABC.
