Fans Swoon Over Mario Lopez's Throwback 'Saved by the Bell' Snap

It made one fan's day!

Christmas has come early for Saved By The Bell fans.

Mario Lopez, who starred on the popular series as high school jock "A.C. Slater," gifted his Instagram followers with a festive throwback snap of the show late Friday night.

In the "flashback Friday" pic, a younger version of the Extra host dons an elf costume, while his two Saved By The Bell co-stars, Dustin Diamond (Screech) and Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) also sport holiday costumes.

The dad-of-two captioned the cute photo: "#FBF 25yrs ago. Ouch... Elf life Merry Christmas!"

Naturally, the snap was a huge hit with fans.

One especially thrilled person wrote: "This made my day!" Another chimed in: "25 years?! You sure?! 😂 god I LOVED SBTB 😍."

Of course, it's no surprise that people still love the short-lived series.  Since its end in 1993, the show has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to reruns and a new generation of viewers.

Luckily for Saved By The Bell's diehard fans, Mario often shares throwback snaps from Bayside High School.

On Oct. 10, the 44-year-old shared two adorable pics of himself as A.C., one of which was taken "27 years" ago.
