Kylie Jenner is most noted for her signature lips, but she may have to give them up soon due to her alleged pregnancy.
Lip injections have been a part of 20-year-old Kylie's life for a number of years, but she has made the decision to give them up so that she can safely carry out her reported pregnancy.
"There are no scientific studies that show that injecting hyaluronic acids during pregnancy is bad for the fetus, although many cosmetic treatments during pregnancy are usually not recommended," Dr. John Layke shared with HollywoodLife.
"I would not perform Botox or fillers on a pregnant woman, and would wait until after pregnancy, and even breastfeeding, to resume injectables," Dr. Sheila S. Nazarian shared as a second opinion.
Kim has promised her that her lips are going to get swollen along with her bump.
While there is little proof that the injections will actually harm her baby, Kylie reportedly wants to play it safe.
"Kylie would never do anything that could put her baby at risk," a source said. “She’s not trying to get lip injections right now.”
Although she plans to abstain from lip treatments, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star may be able to naturally keep her famous pout.
Kylie won't have to worry about her lips deflating because pregnant women usually have fuller lips anyway.
According to the source, 36-year-old Kim Kardashian, who has gone through multiple pregnancies, is even reassuring her.
"Kim has promised her that her lips are going to get swollen along with her bump."
Kylie, who first started getting lip injections at the age of 16, recounts her experience growing up with small lips.
"This guy I kissed was like, ‘Your lips are really small but you’re a really good kisser. I didn’t think you were gonna be good at kissing.’ It was so rude. From then on, I just felt like I saw guys staring at my lips. I felt like no one wanted to kiss me,” she told Complex Magazine.
These days, Kylie is hoping for a safe pregnancy despite her "insecurity" with her lip size.
