Abby Lee Miller is still coming to terms with her unexpected cancer diagnosis.
Following reports that the Dance Moms star was undergoing spinal surgery, it was confirmed that Miller's pain was actually caused by an early diagnosis of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Now, she's said to be completely "devastated," Radar Online reports, feeling "cursed" by everything that's happened to her recently.
I can’t thank everyone enough for the beautiful cards everyone sends me. I have received so many but want to make everyone aware that going forward I will no longer receive cards. The mail rules have changed. The only mail that I will receive will be letters on plain paper or writing paper ( lined ) 📝 in a plain white envelope ✉ Many thanks 🙏 love you all ❤
"She’s strong, but not good. It’s bad and very aggressive," a source told Radar. "She is devastated because she has just been released [from prison], and now this."
Dr. Hooman M. Melamed, the orthopedic surgeon treating her at Cedar Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital, told PEOPLE that if they didn't operate, "she was going to die."
"Her blood pressure was bottoming out. She was not doing well," he said.

While the reality star's recovery process has Melamed a bit more "optimistic" about things, he added that she's "still not out of the woods."
"There’s a chance this can spread to any part of the body… this is probably coming from somewhere else," Melamed said.
"We don’t know where the source is. Any tumor that spreads anywhere is automatically Stage 4, but we have not determined the stage yet."
At this point, Miller is said to be "getting her affairs in order" in case anything happens to her.

"She has no family. Everything will go to her close inner circle," the source added. "She doesn’t think she’s going to make this."
Miller was recently transferred to a halfway house after spending time at Victorville Federal Correctional Institution for bankruptcy fraud.
As of now, she is still scheduled to be released from the halfway house on May 25.
