The palace then revealed the couple will be married by the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Revd. and Rt Hon. Justin Welby.

The full service at the chapel will be led by The Rt Revd. David Conner, the Dean of Windsor.

After the service, the newly married couple will ride in a horse-carriage through the streets of Windsor after exchanging their vows at St. George’s Chapel, beginning approximately at 1 p.m.

This gesture by Prince Harry and Meghan is one that follows the traditions of years of royal family members before them.

After the wedding, the couple will leave Windsor Castle and travel along the High Street through Windsor Town before returning to the castle along the Long Walk.

“Later that evening, The Prince of Wales will give a private evening reception for the couple and their close friends and family,” concluded the statements regarding the nuptials on the Palace’s official Twitter.
