Rape Allegation Against Former ‘DWTS’ Celeb Labeled ‘Bogus’ by Friend

He doesn't believe it at all.

Days after Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess spoke out in Nick Carter's defense after a rape allegation was made against him, someone else is openly supporting him.

AJ McLean, a fellow Backstreet Boys member, said he doesn't believe any of what's going on to be true, admitting that he thinks "it's all bogus."

"I totally support my brother," AJ told a TMZ photographer. "He is a gentleman, a scholar and a father and a dear friend and I completely support him."

According to AJ, Nick just "is not that kind of person" to be involved in something like this.

On Nov. 18, former Dream member Melissa Schuman accused Nick of sexually assaulting her years ago.

The 33-year-old singer described the entire situation in a long blog post, explaining that she was just 18 when it all went down, with Nick allegedly taking her virginity.

"My thought was the only way to get out was to get him to finish what he had started," Melissa wrote.

"That's where I saw myself, my reflection, watching myself do something that I was sickened by. Watching myself be assaulted, forced to engage in an act against my will."

Nick has maintained his innocence since the news came out against him.

He issued a statement to Us Weekly a few days after the blog post was published, stating that he was "shocked and saddened by Ms. Schuman's accusations."

"Melissa never expressed to me while we were together or at any time since that anything we did was not consensual," it said in the statement.

"We went on to record a song and perform together, and I was always respectful and supportive of Melissa both personally and professionally.

"This is the first that I am hearing about these accusations, nearly two decades later. It is contrary to my nature and everything I hold dear to intentionally cause someone discomfort or harm."

Melissa appeared on the Dr. Oz show last week, where she was asked what she'd like to say to Nick.

She responded, "That I forgive you."

She added: "That I don't want anything from you. I wish you only the best. I don't want your money. I didn't do this to hurt you or your family. I did this for me, because I needed this healing."
