New York news anchor Natalie Pasquarella had just wrapped a segment on the NBC 11 p.m. newscast when she suddenly let out a “little giggle” and her water broke on air!
Natalie had just wrapped up a story towards the end of the live broadcast show about Twitter testing out the expansion of its 140 character limit.
She then let out a little giggle and finished the broadcast.
Natalie waited to finish the newscast before telling her colleagues she had just gone into labor.
According to NBC News, the show’s executive producer and others at the show’s offices located in the iconic 30 Rockefeller Plaza building helped get the anchor to the hospital.
It was there she met up with her husband Jamin Pastore and 13 hours later; the couple welcomed a son, 5-pound, 6-ounce son, Jamin James.
“That little giggle, that laugh, was the moment when Natalie’s water broke, live on this set, live on-air,” her co-anchor David Ushery announced on the following night's newscast.

“A beautiful blessing decided to make his entrance early! Thankful for all of the well wishes. Our hearts are full!” Natalie posted on Instagram.
Fans were quick to give their well-wishes to the couple.
“Congratulations and best wishes to you and your husband on the arrival of your gorgeous baby boy. He is precious! Words can't express how very happy I am for both of you!! You're amazing parents already! God bless you and your beautiful family. Much love and big hugs to you!!” said one Instagram fan on the anchor’s official page.
Another stated on Instagram, “Congratulations! OMG, adorable picture. Welcome to mommy world!”
Finally, another exclaimed, “So, so happy! He wanted to make an early appearance at your work ... enjoy Natalie and hubby!”
Natalie was a reporter for Charlotte, Louisiana news station WSOC for seven years before leaving the channel to head to New York become a weekday reporter at WNBC News.
The Ohio native studied journalism at Kent State University.
She has been married to husband Jamin since 2014.
