There have been rumors about her location and whether or not she plans to stick by her husband after he was fired for “inappropriate sexual behavior” in the workplace.
But now, a week after NBC News showed Matt Lauer the door, it seems that his wife Annette Roque will not stand by her man – at least according to her father.
The former model’s dad Henri Roque has spoken to the Daily Mail about the scandal and the future of the couple’s marriage.
Speaking from his apartment near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, the 76 year old said: “I have no words for her husband. What he has done is bad. Everybody feels betrayed.
“She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out.”
His comments come as both Matt and Annette were spotted in Sag Harbor, New York, separately, on Wednesday. Neither was wearing their wedding rings.
“[Annette] is feeling shocked and she is now having sorrow for her children,” Henri said of the couple’s three kids. “Me too. Everybody is feeling quite sad.
“There are also the kids, I don’t know what she’s doing or who they are going to stay with.”
He added: “I feel s--- about the whole thing. The situation is so bad.
“I have met Matt, he was a nice guy. I feel kind of betrayed. It’s my own daughter. I don’t know how the kids are doing.”
Henri also disputed reports that his daughter had fled New York and returned to the Netherlands.
Last week Page Six quoted a “Hamptons source,” who claimed she had taken their two younger children – son Thijs, 11, and daughter Romy, 14 – back to her homeland.

But Annette’s dad has blasted that report as “fake news.”
He said: “I speak to her often. I last spoke to her on Sunday. I asked her if she was in Amsterdam, she said, ‘No, I am in the Hamptons.’
“It was all bulls--- stories. She’s not in Holland. It’s all fake news. It’s s--- news… She’s in America.”
