After Derick Dillard's firing from Counting On, fans are worried Jill Duggar Dillard is making a rebellious move of her own.
The reality star was pictured with her disgraced husband at Silver Dollar City wearing pants.
If you're not familiar with the Duggar family's conservative rules, wearing pants is generally frowned upon and the women typically opt for lengthy, modest skirts.
Apparently for a trip to the Branson, Missouri theme park, pants were in order.
"The day we find out that Derick has been officially fired from Counting On, Jill wears pants at Silver Dollar City," reads a caption on the Duggar Family News fan Facebook page. "Oh, my weak heart."
In the comments, fans had a lot to say about the modern look.
"Maybe the coat counts as skirt over pants style modesty," reads one.
Another fan noted that Jill's sister Jinger is far more of a risk taker in fashion.
"I'm a little less surprised/excited about Jill than I was about Jinger," she wrote. "Jill strikes me as a follower -- one whose decisions are made for her. Jinger, on the other hand, is way more spunky and free-thinking. Jill is simply following Jinger since she's now convinced that God won't strike you down for wearing pants."
Regardless of the motive behind Jill's decision to go against her family's dress code, she clearly has people talking. And the narrative is much less controversial than that of the statements Derick made about fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings.
Perhaps Jill has learned to change the conversation. And if it means wearing pants, so be it.
