Surprise! Not only is Jordin Sparks married, but she's also expecting her very first child next year.
According to People, the American Idol winner tied the knot with Dana Isaiah during a secret ceremony in July.
How they managed to keep their nuptials hidden is another story, as Jordin insists her new husband had a hard time keeping his mouth shut.
"We're both really excited," she told People.
"He's been like, 'I want to shout it from the mountain tops!’ We're really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this."
After being introduced by their mothers, some innocent texting between the two quickly blossomed into something much more romantic.
It was around Easter that Jordin and Dana finally met, with the 27-year-old singer insisting in that moment, she knew it was meant to be.
"A couple days after we had actually met, I was like in my head 'That's going to be my husband! That's my husband right there,'" Jordin said.
"When I'm with him, I feel comfort and safety and calm and peace, and those aren't things that I normally felt. So it was a little wake-up call for me."
Things moved quite quickly after their first encounter.
Just a few months later, the pair were in Hawaii saying "I do" in front of a few close friends.
"You know you're still individuals, but at the same time everything is about 'we' and 'us' as opposed to 'you' and 'I,'" Jordin said about their wedding.
As if letting people know about their marriage wasn't exciting enough, the newlyweds also had the honor of revealing that they'd be starting a family as well.
"Once we got over the initial shock of it, now again just like it is with the marriage, to be able to share that this amazing thing is happening, it's such a great thing. We did this together!" Jordin added.
Despite such a drastic change to her life as of late, the songwriter is ready for what's to come.
Frankly, she's never been happier!
"I'm extremely grateful because life is nuts. This is the best part so far because I have [Dana] and I have this little one and I have a new family," Jordin said.
"I'm the most content I've ever been in my life."
